More details about the game

Included in the game are 4 maps (Mercury, Mars, Venus and the Asteroid Belt) and Luna City, the largest city of mankind located on the Earth's moon.
In addition to their own supply of Infantry and Tank Divisions, each player will have three Executives that can be placed either together with an army (then works as a commander) or in an office in Luna City (worker placement style). The offices in Luna City includes the "Board of Directors", "Luna Cathedral" and "Research labs" among others. Depending on where you place your Executives, you will get certain advantages during different stages of the play. As the game progresses, you will move you Executives to the positions that at the moment are the best for you.



You will battle your opponents using your armies to conquer zones. The zones produce resources that can be used to recruit troops, get more Megacorp cards to your hand, get new Executives or just plain Victory Points. One different thing about the game is that the players have a common enemy in the form of the Dark Legion. From the black Citadel-zones (home of the Dark Legion), it will strike against the players. The Dark Legion and its five Dark Apostles act via a card driven mechanic. Among the cards are everything from launching an attack from a citadel to terrorist bombings of player resource supply organized by a Temple of Destruction.

There are three different types of cards in the game:
1. Mega Corp Cards
Each MegaCorp has its own deck of cards giving certain advantages and add flavor in accordance with the MegaCorp descriptions in the Mutant Chronicles sourcebooks. For example, many of the Cybertronic cards revolves around secret operations, while Capitol has a lot of airstrike cards. You start with only a few cards but get to draw more as the game progresses. Use these cards wisely to power up strategically important battles.


2. Dark Legion Cards
The actions of the Dark Legion is controlled by a deck of cards. They will strike at the zones controlled by humans. In addition, the five Dark Apostles will appear spreading further mayhem and terror.

3. Brotherhood Cards
The Brotherhood is a religious organization determined to destroy the Dark Legion. They have a powerful military and by sending ambassadors to the Luna Cathedral, players may influence the actions of the Brotherhood - of course to make sure that the player's MegaCorp benefit from it.
